Classes are offered in 4-week blocks, with 2 classes per week for a total of 8 classes per block. Current schedule runs Monday sessions: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. All levels of students are welcome.
Each 4-week block is $450. Price includes studio instruction and use of studio space. Materials (canvas, paints, brushes) are the responsibility of the student unless otherwise specified.
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment for the block. Payment is due before the first class of the block. We accept credit/debit cards and other payment methods as listed on our site.
Classes are taught in small groups of 8-10 students on average to emphasize individual instruction. Students choose their preferred medium (oils or acrylics) and style (impressionism, realism, portrait, abstract, etc.). Instruction is tailored to each student’s chosen style and skill level.
Students may attend both weekly sessions in one day (two sessions in a single visit) or split them across two separate days. Classes are ongoing, and students may join a block at any time as space permits.
Make-up classes may be arranged if space is available in another session during the same block. Make-ups must be scheduled within the same 4-week block and cannot be carried over to a subsequent block.
If a student cancels before the first class of the block, a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee will be issued. If a student cancels after the first class but before the second class, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued after the second class of the block has been attended.
Students are expected to clean their workspace after each session. Materials requiring ventilation must be used in the designated ventilated area. SAMANIEGO ART, INC. is not responsible for artwork or personal belongings left in the studio.
If a class is canceled due to weather or emergency, a make-up session will be scheduled. No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.
